Muybridge, Revisted #1
Inkjet print
60" X 40"
2007

The photographs of Eadweard J. Muybridge (April 9, 1830 – May 8, 1940) were a celebration of movement and the human form. The Revisited series examines the glorification and cult of technology and how its intrusion into our daily lives has come at the expense of human physicality and form. Ironically, the imperceptible movement of the finger now brings an infinite number of choices and possibilities.
